Von Weesen geht's mit dem Schiff nach Quinten-Au, dann zu Fuss entlang dem Walensee ins Dorf Quinten selbst.
Die politische Gemeinde umfasst Quinten, Quarten, Mols, Murg, Unterterzen und Oberterzen mit rund 2700 Einwohner. Wobei Quinten gerade mal 41 Einwohner zählt.

Leaving Weesen by boat brings you to Quinten-Au. A hink of 15Minutes along the lake Walensee is the nicest way to Quinten.
The political community consits of Quinten, Quarten, Murg, Mols, Unterterzen and Oberterzen with approx. 2700 inhabitents. Quinten itself has 41 persons.
Quinten ist bekannt für ein mildes Klima, so wachsten hier sogar Palmen. Aber auch Reben, für einen erlesenen Wein. Feigen, Holunder, viele Blumen und sogar eine Bananenpalme ist uns aufgefallen.

Quinten is well known for it's mild micro clima, Palms are growing there! But also vignardes making a great wine and figs, elder and many flowers und even a Bananaplam catch my eye.
In Quinten sind zwei Restaurants('Seehus' und 'Schifflände') direkt am See beide mit Garten. Wir haben im Seehus gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden.

Quinten ist idyllisch und man kann die Ruhe geniessen. ------------------------------ Quinten is a quiet place to enjoy the silence.
Per Schiff geht's auf die andere Seeseite. Übrigens die Kapitänin war eine Scherrer mit Heimatort Quarten-Quinten!

Quarten liegt auf der anderen Seeseite mit toller Aussicht(wenn da nur die hässlichen Bauten der Ausbildungsstätte nicht wären) über dem Walensee.

Quarten is opposit of Quinten on the other side of the lake and it has a nice view to the mountains (Churfirsten), unfortunately the ugly bulidings of a Institute disturbe the view.
