60km ausserhalb Dalian liegt der Dalian Küsten Geologie Park. Mit der Metrolinie 3 gelangt man in die Nähe und den Rest nimmt man ein Taxi.
Die Gesteinsformationen sind 600-700 Millionen Jahre alt. (Das Alter der Erde ca. 4600 Millionen Jahre).
Entlang der Küste finden sich verschiedene Gesteinsformationen die von geologischer Relevanz sind.
Als Höhepunkt wird das Schildkröten artige Gestein angesehen, das auf der Welt einmalig ist!

60km outside of Dalian is the Dalian National GeoPark on the coast. Behind the railway station in Dalian is the metroline 3, this takes you next to
the GeoPark. A taxi is taken for the rest. The rocks are 600-700 million years old. (the earth is 4600 million years old).
Along the coast a variity of rock formations can be fouond, all of them are of geological relevnce. The turtle like rock formation is the Highlight of the GeoPark.
Golden Stein Park --- Golden Stone Park
Unweit vom GeoPark befindet sich der Golden Stein Park, der eigenlich ein Gletschergarten ist. Doch wegen der 'goldenen' Farbe der Felsen 'Golden Stein Park' heisst. Mit etwas Phantasie kann man den Felsen Gestalten zuordnen.
