Im Zentrum von Shanghai ist die Städteplanung Ausstellung (SUPEC) an der Renmin Avenue 100. Ein markantes Gebäude wurde im Jahr 2000 fertiggestellt. Auf fünf Etagen wird über die Geschichte und Planung von Shanghai berichtet. Fotos aus vergangenen Tagen und aktuelle Bilder sind einander gegenübergestellt - so wird die Entwicklung eindrücklich dargestellt.

In the heart of Shanghai, at 100 Renmin Avenue, is SUPEC 'Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center'. A remarkable building was opened in the year 2000. On five Floors the history and development of Shanhai is shown. Fotos of the old days and actual ones are side by side and show the different times.
Imposant ist das Stadtmodel im Massstab von ca.1:1000. Ein Rundgang ermöglicht das Model von allen Seiten zu betrachten. Ein Laserpointer könnte sehr nützlich sein, bei Diskussionen was sich wo befindet.
