Melbourne kennenlernen ist einfach ist man erstmal im Zentrum kann man zu Fuss oder mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr alles gratis erkunden. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Tramlinie 35, die mit historischen Trams eine Runde mit Kommentar anbietet. Vom 88 Stockwerk des Eureka Hochhaus hat man einen 360° Rundblick. So sieht man die grossartigen Sportanlagen in denen z.B. die Australian Open gespielt werden, oder die Cricket Test Series. Auf der anderen Seite den Hafen und das Zentrum.

Getting around in Melbourne is easy, public transportation in the center is free! The tramline 35 runs an histroic tram in a Loop and comment are given on it's way. From the 88th Floor of the Eureak building a 360° view: the sports Centers and the harbourn can be seen as well as the neighborhood.

Der Hafen ist modern und der Zufall will es, dass die Steve Erwin der Sea Shepherts vor Ankel liegt. Die Sea Shepherts setzen sich gegen den Walfang ein.

Cricket und Rugby sind die zwei top Sportarten in Australien. Ich hatte das Glück beim Cricket-Spiel Australien gegen Indien dabei zu sein, für einen Tag (thanks Garry!). Ein Spiel dauert 5 Tage, diesmal hat Indien 3:1 gewonnen.

Cricket and rugby are the two top sorts in Australia. I was lucky to see a day of the game between Australia vs. India. (thanks Garry!). A game is on for 5 days, this time India won 3:1.

Der Rundgang führte vorbei am Parliament House, Theater und am ‚Royal Exhibition Buidling‘ der königlichen Ausstellung mit dem modernen Brunnen. Am Abend zur vollen Stunde zünden am Jarra Fluss die Gasflammen aus 8 Säulen.
On Sightseeing we saw the House of Parliament, the Theater and the Royal Exhibition Building with it's modern fountain in the park. In the evening every hour the gasflames along the Jarra River are lighted.
