Die einzigartigen Bäume in Neuseeland (Kauri-Bäume)
sind gewaltig im Ausmass und wunderschön in der Form zugleich, vor allem die Baumkrome ist sehr speziell. Dieser Baum wurde im Film Avatar als Vorlage verwendet. Weiter gings nach Matamata, mit
einem Bus geht’s dann nach Hobbiton. Auch wenn nur wenige Minuten Film in dieser eigens dafür gebauten Location gedreht wurden, so hat man doch das Gefühl mitten im Film zu sein.
Zum Abschluss gab auch ein Bier im original Grünen Drachen!

The unique Kauri trees are simply giant and look great, particular the crown of the tree. This tree was used as a reference in the movie Avatar. We continued to Matamata and than by bus to
Hobbiton. Just a few minutes of film were turned in Hobbiton and we felt in the middle of it! At the end we had a beer in the original Green Dragon!
