Das
Reisen in Taiwan ist sehr bequem, so führt eine Zugverbindung rund um die Insel, alle übrigen Ziele können mit Busen erreicht werden. Mit dem Zug sind wir von Tainan nach Koahsiung gefahren. Später dann mit dem Bus zum Kending
National Park, von dort nach zwei Tagen Pause mit dem Bus und der Bahn weiter bis nach Taitung.
Kaohsiung ist die zweitgrösste Stadt von Taiwan, sie hat mehr als 2.5M E9nwohner. Der Fluss Love fliesst durch die Stadt. Es ist eine moderne Stadt mit herausragender Architektur sowohl über als
auch unter der Erde! Unvergesslich ist auch der Sonnenuntergang am Strand der Kaohsiung Universität, die übrigens durch einen Fussgängertunnel erreichbar ist!

Travelling in Taiwan is very convenient, the train goes round the island and all other destinations can easily be reached by bus. When we left Tainan we took the train to Kaohsiung, Later we took the bus to
the Kending NP and continued afer two more days by bus and train to Taitung.
Kaoshiung is the second biggest city of Taiwan more then 2.5M people life in the town. The Love river is in the middle of the city. It is a modern city with newly built infrastructures such as
eyecatching architecture above and under the ground. Unforgettable is th also the sunset at the beach of the Kaohsiung university The University can be reached by a pedestrian
tunnel!
Das Ceasars Hotel
lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die grosszügige Einfahrt und die Aussicht auf den Pool gepaart mit einem Upgrade waren ein toller Empfang.
Die südlichste Spitze Taiwans mit seinem Leuchtturm im Eluanbi Park und die steilen Küsten muss man gesehen haben. Am Abend gibt’s im Nachtmarkt eine grosse Auswahl leckeren Spezialitäten. Von
Mixdrinks über Bananen in Schokolade, süsse Ananas und andere Früchte, Calamares, grillierten Spiessen, Wrappers und sogar Holzkohlen-Pizza. Alles zu erschwinglichen Preisen.

The Ceasar hotel invites for a peacefull rest. The generous entrance, the view tot he pool in combination with an upgrade was a great welcome.
The souther edge of Taiwan in the Eluanbi park with it’s lighthouse are a must to see. Not far away are the steep coastlines. When the sun sets the night market invites with many delicious offers
such as: mixdrinks, chocolate coated bananas, pinalpples and other fruits, calamares,mix grilles, wrappers and even carcoal baked pizza is available. All for very competitive
prices.
Per Bus und Bahn fuhren wir nach Taitung, dem Gebiet im Süden Taiwans mit den heissen Quellen. Im Hotel Zhi Ben Lao Ye(auch Hotel Royal Chihpen genannt) hat jedes Zimmer seinen eigenen Hotpool. Das geothermische Wasser hat eine Temperatur von 50°C, etwas zu heiss um direkt hinein zu steigen. Wir konnten gemütlich zu Nachtessen, danach war die Temperatur auf 40°C abgekühlt.
Im Aussenbereich
gab es auch ein Schwimmbad und verschiedene Hotspring Bäder. Diese waren mit Farbe versehen, sieht gut aus aber macht wenig Lust hinein zu gehen.

The bus and train brought us to Taitung, this ist he area with hotsprings. In the Hotel Zhi Ben Lao Ye (also called Hotel Royal Chihpen)
every room has a hotspring pool! The water has a temperature of 50°C, just a bit too hot to get in immediately. That’s why we had time to have dinner first and let the water cool down – it was
40°C after the dinner.
Outside the hotel is a swimming pool and there are hotsprings as well. They are colored, that might look good but isn’t really inviting to get in.
